Dentistry is a small world, and therefore this can happen. Inform us ASAP that you know a submitted candidate, and they will no longer count as an introduction.
We have no problem with this. Agencies work on the basis that the first to introduce to a client wins. This encourages agents to act as fast as possible. All other agencies that submit the same candidate need to be informed that their candidate is already known to you-avoiding double-charged.
As a client, you can directly offer a candidate face-to-face/phone/email. Or, you can make an offer of employment via ourselves. Most candidates expect the offer to come via the agent.
We can provide references on request. But these would not be clinical as we are not clinical! Best practice would be for you to gain references. We usually request the contact details from the candidate for you to help.
We check all candidates ‘Proof of right to work in the UK’ is checked with every introduction. We then check whichever compliance that is requested by the client for that role.
